    Gustav Adolph Gilbertson (Gustav Gulbransen)
    To U.S., Garfield, Wisc. Married Methea Stuve in South Beef River Church, Wisc. in 1882.
    Gustave and his wife (Mattie) lived on the second floor of the home of his daughter and son-in-law (Hazel and Harry) at 1713 Blair St., St. Paul, Minn. from about 1918 until his death in 1929. When he came to St. Paul, he ran his own grocery store and sold real estate. He delivered the groceries to people's homes by a horse drawn wagon. Sometime before 1924, he became blind and could no longer work.
    He is buried at Acacia Park Cemetery south of St. Paul.
