Lakeville -- Services for Dr. Grant E. Herbster, 63, of Rio Rancho, New Mexico, formerly of Lakeville, who died Sunday in his home, will be [in] New Mexico. Palmer Funeral Home is [in] charge of local arrangements. Dr. Herbster was a retired chiropractor. He was born October 21, 1924, in Lakeville. His wife, the former Emily Gentner, survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Dianne Sasko of Rio Rancho; two sons, Grant E. Jr. of Bohemia, New York, and Glenn of Jacksonville, Florida; 5 grandchildren; by sisters, Helen Schafer and Edna Berger, both of South Bend, Hilda Bartlett of Bloomington, Indiana, Glee Fair of Lakeville and Carol Currie of Concord, CA; and a brother, Donald of Lakeville. Dr. Herbster was a veteran of World War II.
