A death notice for Grace Seaver was published in the New York Post newspaper, dated 11 August 1856. It reads:

"DEATH NOTICE: "Bklyn, Sat. Grace Milton Seaver dau Benj F & Lucy B 22m"

A Death notice was also published in the New York Times newspaper on 11 August 1856. It reads:

“DIED. In Brooklyn, on Saturday evening, Aug. 9, after four days' illness, of cholera infantum, GRACE MILTON, youngest child of Benj. F. and Lucy B. Seaver, aged 22 months.

"The relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral, this day, (Monday) at 2 o'clock P.M., from the residence of her father, No. 30 Garden St.”
