Connected with Wm A. and Alfred T White , merchants and improved dwellings for working people in NYC. He has been with this firm for 40 years and is now Secretary. (JMSeaver, 1923)

In the 1920 US Census, Benjamin F. Seaver (friend, male, white, age 61, single, born NY, father born MA, mother born NY, a banker, works in a banking house) resided at 118 Willow Street in Brooklyn, Kings County, New York [National Archives Microfilm Series T625, Roll 1143, page 81, ED 5, Sheet 9A, Line 14].

DEATH RECORD:

An Obituary was published in the New York Times newspaper, dated 27 April 1929. It reads:

“BENJAMIN F. SEAVER, ALPINIST, DIES AT 71 Leader in American and Canadian Alpine Clubs Stricken After a Walk. Benjamin Frank Seaver, former treasurer of the American Alpine Club and active in walking circles for many years, died at his home, 27 Monroe Place, Brooklyn, yesterday afternoon. Although he had been in ill health for the last few months, his condition had improved sufficiently recently to permit of his going outdoors. His death came after he had been out with his nurse, walking near his home. He was 71 years old.

"Funeral services will be held at 3 P.M. tomorrow in the Church of the Savior, First Unitarian, Brooklyn.

"Mr. Seaver was active in business until the beginning of this year, having been associated with W.A. and A.M. White & Sons of 14 Wall Street for more than twenty-five years. He came of an old Boston family, a grandfather having served that city as Mayor.”
