There is a record for the marriage of Gottlieb Darm, age 48, and Christine Frobose, age 48, in the Grace Church records. No year noted, but prior to 1887. {private email from Frobose researcher, 3 June 2002}

 In the Baldwins Directory of Essex, New Jersey, 1894, there is a 'Gattbol Darm', quarryman, living at River Road at Nutley Ave in Franklin [later Nutley]. {<www.heritagequest.com>}
 According to his death certificate, he died on Sept 4, 1901, age 58, residence River Road.
 However, if the ages on the marriage certificate are accurate, he married Christine about 1883 and probably died about 1893.
 I have not been able to locate him in any census -- it is possible he used a different first name and/or his last name is misspelled.
