Glenna was a homemaker and worked various jobs in the area supporting farming (pruning and picking grapes, etc.) She loved playing cards (pitch and euchre).

She was a member of the Daughters of the Union Veterans of the Civil War and supported many of its activities such as holding Memorial Services at the Furnaceville Cemetary, visiting the veterans at Canandaigua hospital and planting gernaniums on the veterans graves in the Ontario cemeteries. She was a member of the Immanuel Congregational Church, where she was noted for making gravy for the annual Harvest suppers.

Glenna and Peter lived all their adult lives in Ontario, NY.
