12J.1 Glen Edwin(4) RITTGERS (George3, Jacob2, John1) was born 7 Feb 1894 in Rippey, Green e Co., Ia., the son of George McClellan RITTGERS and Julia LAMB. [GrVRB, Vol 2, entry #3641 ] On the 1900 census, he is age 5, with parents there. [ED 97, p 7A, fam #187/187] Still wi th parents in 1910 in Dawson Twp., Greene Co., Ia. He is age 16, and a farmer.[ED 93, p 6A , fam #75/75] He married (1) Laura N. SEXTON 24 Dec 1915. She was born 1888 in Ia.[PGrCem , p 28] In 1920 we find him, age 26, farming in Paton, Greene Co., Ia. With him is wife "Nor a", 29, caring for their children. She declares that her father was born in England and he r mother born in NY.[ED 116, p 7A, fam #50/50] Laura died 1923 in Ia., and buried in Paton Tw p. Cemetery,Greene Co., Ia.[ PGrCem, p 28] Glen married (2) Hazel OWEN 21 Aug 1930. She wa s born 1901. Hazel died 18 Jul 1936.[ PGrCem, p 28] Glen died 1959 in Paton, Greene Co., Ia . Glen, Nora (called Laura M. on the tombstone) and Hazel E. are all buried in Lot 18 of Blo ck Fourteen, Paton Twp. Cemetery. They resided in Mason City, Ia. [PGrCem, p 28]
