A twin to Floyd, he is on the 1910 census, age 9, in Dawson Twp., Greene Co., Ia.[ED 93, p 6A, fam #75/75] Still with parents in Dawson on 1920 census, age 18.[ED 103, p 1A, fam #4/3] He married Margaret Ann TUCKER 27 Oct 1927 in Mason City, Cerro Gordo Co., Ia. She was born 14 May 1907 in Grand Junction, Greene Co., Ia., the daughter of Frank and Ruth (Herrick) Tucker. Lloyd was a farmer in central Iowa. They were Methodists. Lloyd died 20 Jan 1988 in Jefferson, Greene Co. , Ia., and Margaret died there 15 Feb 1992[SS]. [Family group sheet submitted by Maureen (Canavan) Rittgers] In Margaret's obituary Des Moines Register, 17 Feb 1992, p. 11, we see she was "of Gowrie, died of a heart ailment at Greene Co. Medical Center, Jefferson." She was a member of the Gowrie United Methodist Church. She is survived by son Dick, sister Edna Harten of Jefferson; brother, Lloyd Tucker of Jefferson; 5 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
