SIR GILES DAUBENEY, of South Ingleby, South Petherton, &c., son and heir, by 1st wife. On 14 October 1351 he had letters stating that, though born out of the King's allegiance, he might nevertheless enjoy his inheritance. In Oct. he bought the manors of Kempton, Beds, and Tottenham, Middlesex from William Daubeney and Philippe his wife, for 200 marks. Sheriff of Beds and Bucks, 1379-80. Knight of the Shire for Somerset 1382, 1383 & 1384.
