Georgina Caroline Sitwell was baptised on 6 September 1823 at Eckington, Derbyshire, England.1 She was the daughter of Sir George Sitwell, 2nd Bt. and Susan Murray Tait.1 She married Archibald Campbell Swinton of Kimmerghame, son of John Campbell Swinton of Kimmerghame and Catherine Rannie, on 7 October 1856.2 She died on 2 February 1900 at age 76.2
From 7 October 1856, her married name became Swinton.
