Obituary:

GEORGE RODERICK SMITH , 67, of Germantown, portrait artist and art director for WREG, died Wednesday at his home. Graveside services will be at 11:30 a.m. Monday at Memorial Park. Canale Funeral Directors has charge. He was a National Guard veteran, an Eagle Scout with Troop 34 and a member of SAE Fraternity. He leaves two sons, George R. Smith II of New York City and Prichard Thomas Smith of Memphis; a sister, Phyllis S. Spence of Baltimore, and two grandchildren. The family requests that any memorials be sent to Church Health Center.
