Mrs. Foltz was born June 30, 1912 at Petersburg, a daughter of the late Jess Y. and Estella Riggleman Alt. She was a retired cosmotologist and former co-owner of Foremost Beauty Shop. She was a member

of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

Her husband Owen T. Foltz, Sr., preceded her in death Aug 3, 1975. Surviving are three sons, Owen T. Foltz, Jr. of Winchester, VA, Jimmie D. Foltz, Sr. and Jonnie D. Foltz, Sr. both of Frederick County; one daughter, Lt. Col. Mary Joan Foltz of San Antonio, TX, 10 gr andchildren, seven great-grandchildren two sisters, Mrs. Thelma Miller of Bedford, PA and Mrs. Grace Talbott of Mahomet, IL, four brothers, Earl Alt of Moorefield, George Alt of Charles Town, Maurice Alt of Gettysburg, PA, and Ellis Alt of Florence, SC. Two brothers preceded her in death. A mass was conducted at Sacred Heart Catholic Church by Father Jerome Fosano and Father Julius Cilinski. Burial was in Shen(torn) Memorial Park.
