Susan M. Riggleman, 80, formerly of the Clarence area, died at 2:35 p.m. Monday in Burnham Hospital, Champaign. She had lived in Country Health Nursing Home, Gifford, for three years. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Ford-Baier Funeral Home, Paxton with the Rev. Robert Hackl and the Rev. Dan Cox officiating. Burial will be in Glen Cemetery, Paxton. Friends may call at the fun eral home Wednesday afternoon and evening. The family suggests memorial contributions to a charity of the donor's choice. Mrs. Riggleman was born May 29, 1893, in Shamokin, PA, a daughter of Harry and Rosie Lewis Clark. She was reared in Pennsylvania and had lived in the Clarence area since 1907. She was married to Orville M. Riggleman Sept. 20, 1913, at Paxton. Her husband died in 1959. Mrs. Riggleman leaves sons, Cecil or Clarence, Henry of Veedersburg, IN and Kenneth of near Paxton; a daughter, Leola Penson of Kankakee; 17 grandchildren and brothers, Marvin Lewis of Rankin and Dona ld Lewis of Warsaw, IN One son, one daughter, one sister and one great-granddaughter also preceded her in death. Mrs. Riggleman was a member of the old Pleasant Grove Methodist Church south of Clarence and a former member of the Willing Workers Community Club. Pallbearers: Lloyd Sypult, Dwain Riggleman, Oliver S humate, Quentin Riggleman, Robert Woodworth, and Charles Grider.
