1912 !BIOGRAPHY: George W and Annie Morrow McBride bought the farm from the Warren Baker estate in 1912 A few years ago, Eleanor and Laura visited us here in the old McBride house. They mentioned that when the McBrides bought the farm from the Warren Baker estate in 1912 two aunts moved in with them and lived in a tiny bedroom behind the stairs. Their names were Becky and Betsy.

Newspaper clipping from Troy Record of December 28, 1943, tells of George and his wife observing their 60th wedding avviversary on the 25th. It mentions his age as 88 and his being a farmer his entire life. (See the clipping attached as a photo.)
