Mre. Garnett Moore West, 43, of Rockport, Rt. 1, died yesterday morning in Camden-Clark Memorial hospitol [diagnosed as cancer].

She was born June 11, 1915 in Wirt County, daughter of LindyR. and Clara Boice Moore, and was a member of Slate Chapel.

Survivors include her parents; her husband, Lafe West; a son, Wayne West of Rockport; four daughters, Mrs. Shirley Dewler, Rockport; Kathryn, Sharon, and Norma Lee West, all at home; three brothers, Carl Moore, Washington, Wood County; Ken-Glen Moore, Rockport; and two sisters, Mrs. Ruth Hughes, Belpre, and Mrs. Ruby Matheny, Mineral Wells.

Friends may call at the Kines Funeral Home after noon today.

Services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Slat Chapel with the Rev. Charles Wilkinson and the Rev. Paul Higgins officiating. Burial will be at the Limestone Hill Cemetary [off Rt. 21S from Rockport].

The body will be taken in the church to lie in state from 1 to 2 p.m.
