A notice in the Paris New Thursday, May 19, 1994:

"Freddie P. Beacham, 87, of Carthage, died Tuesday, May 17, 1994, at Panola General Hospital there. Gene Roden's Sons, director of funerals, will conduct graveside services at 2 p.m. Friday, May 20, at Evergreen Cemetery with Dr. Charles McMillan and Dennis Lee officiating.

The family will receive friends from 7-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Mrs. Beacham was born Sep. 25, 1906, in Marietta, GA, a daughter of Albert Sidney and Jessie Burr Christian Chewning. She was a retired book binder and hard worked for Bennett Printing Co. in Dallas.

She was member of the Episcopal Church.

Her husband, Walter C. Beacham, died in 1967.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. J. E. (Betty) Cunningham of Carthage; a sister, Edna Richardson of Mabank, 15 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; a stepson, James Beacham; and a stepdaughter, Mrs Sam Motzas. (Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery.)
