No trace could be found for Fred and Grace in censuses of 1871 and 1881. A death registered in 1890 was for another Fred in Bradford, Yorkshire. By 1871 their daughter, Mary Ann, was living with her Beardsell grandmother. This indicates that both her parents were deceased by then.
