 In the 1920 census in Nutley, ward 3,  Essex Co., New Jersey, Adolph Zeitler is a widower, age 57, born New Jersey (parents Germany), a clerk in an office.  Living with him are daughter (Maime?) (Mossinger?), 34, single, born New York (parents New Jersey); son-in-law Fred Mossinger, 28, born New York (parents Germany), clerk in office; Carrie Mossinger, 27, born New Jersey (parents New Jersey); son-in-law (Webster?) (Leeland?), 25, born New Jersey (parents England), machinist in factory; and daughter (Luisa?), 25, born New Jersey. {ed 296, sh 8a}
 According to family records, he lived in Irvington, New Jersey at the time of his mother's death in 1929.
 In the 1930 census for Newark, Essex Co., New Jersey, Fred 'Mersinger' is 39 NY (parents Germany), married first at 27, 'salesman (gases?)'; with wife Carrie 37 NJ; and children Fred'k 10 and Jane 4.
