According to the Sallie Lee DeWitt 1981 Genealogy, Frank and his brother Tom were inducted into the 62nd Mounted Infantry on 18 November 1862. They were listed as "AWOL" in December of 1862. The Genealogy also states he, "Went to Sopulpa, Oklahoma" (page 76D). Later on page 78, the Genealogy states that Frank lived in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
