This obituary appeared in the July 31, 1991 edition of the Palmyra Spectator, Palmyra, MO.:

"Frank G. Hansbrough, 68, St. Charles, died July 25, 1991 at St. Joseph Health Center. Mr. Hansbrough was born November 27, 1922 in Quincy, IL to Frank and Rose Young Hansbrough. They preceded him in death. He married Donalda F. (Donnie) Fuerst on May 31, 1949 at Mountain Home Arkansas. She survives. Mr. Hansbrough had been an electronics engineer for McDonald Douglas, having retired after 22 years of service. He had previously worked 11 years at Emerson Electric. He was a Navy veteran of WW II, a member of Adobe Lodge No. 41, Tucson, AZ; the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Enginner and Palmyra Chapter No. 2 Royal Arch Mason. Survivors include two sons, Richard (Rick) Gregoire, Columbia and James (Randy) Gregoire, Baton Rouge, LA; two daughters, Jacque Hansbrough, Alexandria, VA and Mrs. Kirk (Jill) Wacker, Columbia; one brother Horace Hansbrough, Kansas City; three sisters, Dorothy Flanagan, Quincy, IL; Ruby Hansbrough, St. Charles; and Leslie Skinner, Mexico, MO; and three grandchildren, Richard, Danielle and Christopher Gregoire. Funeral services were held at 11:30 a.m., Monday, July 29, 1991 at Baue Funeral Home of St. Charles Internment was in St. Charles Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to the Salvation Army or the American Lung Association."
