    Frank Elmer Diddy, 90, of 6220 E. Montecito Ave., father of Dr. Gordon A. Diddy, former director of medical institutions for Fresno County, died yesterday in a local rest home.
    A native of Perry, Iowa, he had lived in Fresno 13 years. The elder Diddy, a pharmacist, had owned and operated a drugstore in Linden, Iowa, for more than 25 years. He retired in 1948.
    He was a graduate of the School of Pharmacy in Des Moines, Iowa. His wife, Eva, died in 1966.
    In addition to Dr. Diddy, he is survived by another son, John, of Portland, Ore.; two half-sisters, Mrs. Louise Cornelius of Perry, Iowa, and Mrs. Dorothy Pleshik of Fort Worth, Tex.; three grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
    Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Orr’s Colonial Chapel. Burial will be in the IOOF Cemetery. Ancestry Link
