Pulaski Democrat, 21 May 1930: RICARD-- Misses Hazel and Frances Hall spent the weekend with their mother, Mrs. Dan Furney of Pine Meadows. Durgan and Frances Hall met with a serious accident Saturday night, in Williamstown, when their car left the road and hit a pole with considerable force. Frances lost several teeth, had a bad cut on her face which required a number of stitches. She is a patient in a Rome hospital, and the extent of her injuries are not as yet known. Robert received chest and other body injuries. They are expected to have x-rays to determine the extent of their injuries. The car was badly damaged. We do hope for Frances and Bob a quick recovery. Pulaski Democrat, 11 Feb 1954: SOUTH RICARD-- Mrs. Robert Durgan returned home from the Oswego Hospital Sunday, where she was taken for treatment for injuries she received in the auto accident she had Thursday. ROBERT DURIGAN, 50, DIES; WAS STRUCK BY CAR Altmar-- Mrs. Frances Durigan [!], 50, wife of Robert Durigan [!] died Saturday from injuries received when she was hit by an automobile as she walked along Route 11 in Maple View near Mexico. She was born in Orwell. She was a member of Wesleyan Church, Pine Meadows. Besides her husband, she leaves three daughters, Mrs. Jean Tilden, Camden; Kathy and Carol Durigan, both at home; two sons, Gary, Camden, and Bruce, Altmar; a sister, Mrs. Hazel Miller, Wolcott; two half-sisters, Marion Mulvaney, Florence, and Mrs. Clara Johnson, Williamstown; a brother, Lawrence Hall, Vestal. and a half-brother, Donald Furney, Florence. The funeral will be... Wednesday from the Sanborn Funeral Home, Camden. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Williamstown ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Pulaski Democrat, 9 Mar 1961: KASOAG-- Mr. and Mrs. Robert Durgan are parents of a daughter born Saturday [March 3?] in Oswego Hospital.
