Pulaski Democrat, 14 Feb 1923: RICARD-- The community was shocked and saddened to hear of the sudden death of Charles August Hall, who passed away Monday evening, Feb. 5th, after a few days' illness with the grip, which developed into pneumonia. Mr. Hall was 30 years of age... His funeral was largely attended at the home, Thursday, Feb. 8th..., Rev. W. H. Stimson officiating... The deceased is survived by his wife, one son, Lawrence, and daughter, Hazel; his mother, Mrs. Anna B. Hall; two brothers, one sister, and five half brothers. The remains were placed in the receiving vault at Altmar, where they will be left until spring.
