1. ↑ Frances Josephine Cogswell, 83, Sarasota, died Sept. 20, 2005.
   
   She was born May 31, 1922, in Evart, Mich., and came to Sarasota in 2004 from Garner, N.C. She retired as secretary after 25 years with Consumers Power Co. in Lansing, Mich. She was a member of Homemakers Extension Service in Lansing, Mich., and Garner, N.C. She was a Christian.
   
   Survivors include sons Da-vid L. and Michael M., both of Sarasota; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
   
   A graveside service will be later in Lansing. The Good Earth Crematory, 501 17th Ave. W., Bradenton, FL 34205. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Epilepsy Services of Southwest Florida, 1900 Main St., Sarasota, FL 34236; or to Alzheimer's Association, 1230 S.    SARASOTA, Florida - Frances Josephine Cogswell, age 83, of Sarasota, Florida (formerly of Nashville) died at 4:30 p.m. on September 20, 2005 at Sarasota.
   Mrs. Cogswell was born on May 31, 1922 in Evart.
   She was raised in Maple Grove township and attended Maple Grove and Nashville schools, graduating in 1939.
   She was employed by Consumers Powers Company in Hastings and Lansing for over 21 years. She was a life-long member of Homemakers Extension Service.
   Mrs. Cogswell is survived by her sons, [Living individual] and [Living individual] and her daughter-in-law, [Living individual] Cogswell, all of Sarasota, Florida, seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
   Services will be held In October at Hastings Township Cemetery.
   Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice or the Alzheimer's Association.
   Arrangements are being made by Wren Funeral Home.
