    "Funeral services for Mrs. Frances B. Wilkerson, 70, of Conroe, will be held Wednesday, July 11, at 2 p.m., in the First Presbyterian Church in Conroe, with Dr. K. F. Snipes, paster officiating. Interment will be in Garden Park Cemetery with Forest Hill Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. A native of Calvert, she had lived in Conroe for the past 24 years. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Conroe, and a charter member of the Red Cross Gray Ladies. Mrs. Wilkerson is surived by her husband, Walter D. Wilkerson Sr.; two sons, Dr. Walter D. Wilkerson Jr. of Conroe, and Jim B. Wilkerson of Dallas; five sisters, Miss Louise Burnitt of Houston, Mrs. L. R. DuPriest of Bryan, Mrs. C. P. Briggs of Calvert, Miss Lucille Burnitt of Hearne and Mrs. R.M. Andrews of Baton Rouge, La.; and four grandchildren. Source: Conroe, Texas Courier of 10 July 1973.
