Fred or Ferdinand Rosenow was born on December 13, 1854-1856 in Strausburg or Stettin. They came to the U.S. in 1881 arriving on or about June 3, 1881. They settled in Cleveland, Ohio. His father's name was either Wilhelm or Johann Rosenow. They were Lutherans. Ferdinand also had two brothers one named John and the other named Carl who also came to Cleveland.
