Felix drowned after a fall off the dock at Elizabeth City shipyard following the Int'l Mothboat Regatta. He was a machinist at the Avalon Hosiery Mill. He was born in Germany & had lived at Elizabeth City for 20yrs. Surviving are his wife Margaret (Kring), 3 daughters: Mrs. Wm.Winslow & Mrs. James Brinson of this town & Mrs Ed W. Hool of Minneapolis, MN, one son, Dyson of this town, who was competiting in the moth boat regatta & is a member of the high school junior varsity football team.
