An obit published at her death at age 98, in Elizabeth City, NC told that she was a native of Shilliinton, PA & the widow of Felix Thurecht. A member of First United Methodist Church & charter member of the Ladies Auxiliary VFW since 1947. She is survived by tow daughters, Jessie Hook of Charlottesville, VA & Carol Winslow of Las Vegas, NEv. & one son, Dylson of AZ, 13 granchildren & 6 gread-grandchildren.. One daughter predeceased her, Charlotte Brinson.
