{geni:about_me} 1860 & 1880 census say he's born in 1824, 1870 says 1822.

In 1879, owned 77 acres in Northeast corner of Harrison Township, Kosciusko County, Indiana. The property was just southeast of Atwood and was in two catty-corner from one another and straddling the Pittsburgh Fort Wayne & Chicago Railroad (current Old State Rd. 30).

{geni:comment} Felician married Josephine Romany. One member Says they were married before they reached the USA and had a sickly child when they left home. Our side of the family says that Felician came first and Josephine came later. There is no record of them bringing a child with them. I have a copy of Felician's citizenship papers but nothing for Josephine. They were buried someplace in near where they lived. Also we think Joseph was buried near them as Mary Theresa came back to Noble county with her children and Josephine Carteaux Jones was born about two weeks before she died. She is buried in St. Mary's here in Avilla
