'BLISS Ceperianus, [child] of Jonathan, Feb. 5, 1649 ...
Another entry gives the same date for the first six [children], and calls the first Experience'

The year is assumed to be split year 1649/50, based on spacing of the children in this family, and consistency with other records in the same source where the spacing of children makes it even more obvious that the date is according to the old style (for example, children of John and Hannah (Wheaton) Butterworth).
