Nov 6, 1916 - Jul 8, 2010 Evelyn (Snow) Kraak, 93, of Zeeland, passed away Thursday, July 8, 2010 at Hospice House of Holland.

Evelyn was born November 6, 1916, the youngest of 12 children, to Albert and Evelyn Dykstra at their home in Zeeland.

She went to Zeeland Christian School and later married Raymond Snow. Evelyn and Ray raised their family in Zeeland and were members of Zeeland Free Methodist Church. Through the years Evelyn worked at Bennett Wood Specialties and at Jaarda's Store in Downtown Zeeland. In 1981, Raymond passed away.

Evelyn later married Wilbert Kraak, and he preceded her in death in 2006. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Eileen Hicks, and daughter-in-law, Jean Snow.

Evelyn is survived by her children: Roger Snow, Judy and Gary Berens, Betty and Charles Wibert, 11 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, 7 great-great grandchildren, step-children: Christie Kraak, William and Jeanne Kraak, Kenneth and Ann Kraak, 5 step-grandchildren, 5 step-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 11:00 am, Monday, July 12, 2010 at the Zeeland Free Methodist Church, 3041 96th Ave., Zeeland. The Rev. Jerry Van Kuiken will officiate. Visiting hours will be 2-4 and 7-9 pm, Sunday at the Yntema Funeral Home, 251 S. State Street, Zeeland. Burial will be in Zeeland Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice House of Holland or the Zeeland Free Methodist Church.
