ZEELAND - Edward Dykstra, 85, of 371 N. Woodward Ave., Zeeland, died Sunday, Aug 28, in Zeeland Community Hospital.

Born in the Netherlands, he was a member of First Baptist Church, Zeeland. He was retired from Herman Miller Inc. of Zeeland as a boiler operator.

Surviving are his wife, Marion; one son, Edward Dykstra Jr. of Belding; four grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; two sisters, Winniw Holtgeerts of Holland and Evelyn Kraak of Zeeland; two brothers Menno Dykstra of Zeeland and Arie Dykstra of Bentheim; one sister-in-law, Lyda Nienhuis of Holland; and one brother-in-law, William Nash of Colorado.

Services are set for 1:30 pm Wednesday at Yntema Funeral Home, 16 East Main Ave, Zeeland, with the Rev. Roger Best officiating. Burial will be in Zeeland Cemetery.

Visiting hours at the funeral home are set from 7 to 9 pm Tuesday. Memorials may be given to Hospice of Holland.
