Eva Belle Warren, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Horace Warren, was born in Chikaming township, near Three Oaks, Mich., April 22, 1863, and she departed this life at her home near New Buffalo , February 19, 1923, after a short illness of influenza, complicated at the last by heart trouble. She was united in marriage to John H. Barnes June 10, 1885, at her father's home, south of Three Oaks, and to this union were born five children, Guy, of Doniphan, Neb., Warren, of Loomis, Neb., Hugh, of New Buffalo, Mildred, at home, and Mrs. Bentzley Stickle, of Three Oaks. Besides the five children, the deceased is survived by her husband, eleven grandchildren, two sisters, Mrs. Guy C. Love and Miss May Warren, both of Three Oaks, also a large circle of neighbors and friends. The funeral was held Thursday at 2 p.m. at the home, Rev. Helrigel officiating. Interment was made in Pine Grove cemetery. Those attending from out of town were L.R. Barnes, of Lenox, Iowa, Warren Barnes, of Loomis, Neb., and Mrs. E.K. Ayling, of Mosherville, Mich.
