Esther sang in the choir of the M.E. Church of Pottstown for years. On Saturday nights when she went to choir practice, she would leave Lee and Maude in the care of their grandmother Susan (Ebling) Willman where the children would have a nine o'clock "supper" of chocolate, sugar, and orange juice fixed on tiny tin dishes. Lived with Wallace and Maude after Maberry died and she helped take care of Maude before the move to New Mexico. She was living with Lee in New Jersey when she heard the news of Maude's death and passed away that very same night. She was nicknamed "Monie" by her grandchildren. Maberry and Esther only had four children of which two were stillborn.
