    Bath, S. C. - Mrs. Estell Attaway Burkhalter, 76, of 2 Maple Stl, Bath, died Wednesday.
    Funeral services will be held at 5 p.m. Friday at Bath United Methodist Church with the Revs. Hilton Johnson and A. F,. Carter officiating. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery.
    A native of Aiken County, she had lived here all her life and was a member of Bath United Methodist Church. She was a retired employe of United Merchants and Manufacturing Corp.
    Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. George E. Varrow and Miss Bobby Jean Burkhalter, both of Augusta, Mrs. Elmer Millian, Manassas, Va., and Mrs. Allen K. Wood, Beaufort, S. C,.; two sons, Fred Burkhalter, Pleasonton, Calif., and Willie Burkhalter, Bath; and two brothers, David E. Attaway, Bath, and Robert Attaway, Augusta.
