"GIRL'S MOTHER-- Tells What She Knows About Young Seaton, AllegedSwinderl of Women in New York-- Columbus, O., Oct. 24-- Mrs. Frad Krumm,mother of Estelle Krumm, who figured in the New York Escapade of CharlesSeaton, the alleged swindler of women, was interviewed by yourcorrespondent today. She said she had introduced her daughter to Seatonabout a year ago. Mrs. Krumm first knew Seaton as a member of aprominent law firm in Cleveland. He is 32 years old. Mrs. Krumm says hestands well with moneyed men, comes from a well to do farmily, is achurch worker and a deep student. The couple were to have been marriedtoday, but the wedding was postponed on account of Seaton's health, wasthe word Mrs. Krumm received from her daughter. Miss Krumm's father, nowdead, was a queensware merchant of this city. Afther he father's deathbeing possessed of a very fine voice, Miss Krumm went on the stage. Lastseason she appeared in "San Toy." She started this season with "TheMessenger Boy" but quit her engagement on account of Seaton objectin other continuing on the stage."
