    Died: Ernestine Wilhelmine Henriette Kurtzweg,dau of Martin and Caroline Kurtzweg, born Nov 17, 1850 at Ricknow,Brandenberg, Germany. Came to Canada in 1862 and in 1871 married JosephOhlman. They lived at Plevna and then at Letterkenny, Burdenell,Renfrew Co.

    They had 14 children, 10 sons and four daus. Her husband died yearsago. Two sons, Frank and Xavier, perished in the disastrous fire twoyears ago at Purquois Junction. [Frank Ohlman and Rosie Krieger died at"Porcupine" in a 1911 prairie fire.] Their remains were laid in NewLiskeard cemetery. Left to mourn are her sister, Mrs. G Berger ofRosenthal; eight sons: Joseph of Quartz, Ont.; Lorenz of Forest Park,Ill. [the sons of Frank and Rosie later moved to Illinois with theirUncle Joseph who raised them]; Clemens of Contsville, Ont; Charlie, Leoand John at home; Micahel of Napanee and William; Mrs Miller of NewLiskeard; Mrs Aug Berger, West Fort William; Mrs Frank McClaren,Syracuse; Mrs Henry Albert, Ottawa.
