    Died: Ernestine Wilhelmine Henriette Kurtzweg, dau of Martin and Caroline Kurtzweg, born Nov 17, 1850 at Ricknow, Brandenberg, Germany. Came to Canada in 1862 and in 1871 married Joseph Ohlman. They lived at Plevna and then at Letterkenny, Burdenell,Renfrew Co.

    They had 14 children, 10 sons and four daus. Her husband died years ago. Two sons, Frank and Xavier, perished in the disastrous fire two years ago at Purquois Junction. Their remains were laid in New Liskeard cemetery. Left to mourn are her sister, Mrs. G Berger of Rosenthal; eight sons: Joseph of Quartz, Ont.; Lorenz of Forest Park,Ill. [the sons of Frank and Rosie later moved to Illinois with their Uncle Joseph who raised them]; Clemens of Contsville, Ont; Charlie, Leo and John at home; Michael of Napanee and William; Mrs Miller of New Liskeard; Mrs Aug Berger, West Fort William; Mrs Frank McClaren, Syracuse; Mrs Henry Albert, Ottawa.
