Ephraim Crouse died at his home near Silver Run Tuesday, July 8th following a stroke of apoplexy received last Thursday. He was aged about 70 years. He was the son of the late David and Elizabeth Whitmyer Crouse. He is survived by a widow and two sons, Ira D. Crouse and George Crouse, of near Kingsdale. Also two sisters, Mrs. Albert Keith, of near Littlestown and Mrs. Amanda Stair. of near Silver Run. Funeral on last Friday July 11th, services by Rev. S.C. Hoover, of the Reformed Church. Internment at Silver Run.
