Emanuel Crouse died on Monday night of last week at the home of his son Augustus Crouse near St. James Church, Between Littlestown and Harney, from pneumonia, aged 69 years, 11 months and 1 day.
Funeral services were held at St. James Church on last Wednesday afternoon with Interment in the church cemetery. Rev. C.P. Bastian conducting the same. He leaves six sons and four daughters, Emphraim A. Crouse of Mt. Joy Township, Jacob S. of Mayberry Md., Israel H., Samuel C. and Charles W., of Littlestown, Howard R. of York, Mrs. Wm. Brown of Kingsdale, Mrs. Samuel Fox of Mt. Joy Township, Mrs. George Aulthouse of Barlow and Mrs. W.A. Kump of near Kingsdale.
