DEATH CLAIMS AGED WOMAN ON 91ST BIRTHDAY
Mrs. Ellen E. Crouse Succumbs At Son's Home Near Littlestown.
LAST OF FAMILY OF 8 CHILDREN
Death claimed one of Adams county's oldest residents on her ninty-first birthday anniversary when Mrs. Ellen Elizabeth Crouse succumbed to the infirmities of age, tuesday afternoon at 1:40 o'clock.
She was the widow of Ephraim Crouse of near Littlestown, who died in 1913.
Mrs. Crouse was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Micheal Stair, of Littlestown, and was a lofe-long resident of Adams County.
Funeral Friday
Surviving are two sons, George W. Crouse, near Littlestown, with whom Mrs. Crouse resided for seven years, and I.D. Crouse, Littlestown. planing mill operator, and three grandchildren, Lloyd Crouse, Littlestown, Mrs. Wilber Bankert, Littlestown and Charles O. Myers, at home.
She was the last of a family of eight children.
Mrs. Crouse was a member of Redeemers Reformed Church, Littlestown, and of the Women's Bible class.
Funeral services at the Crouse home Friday morning at 9:30 o'clock, the Rev. A.O. Bartholomew, pastor of the Reformed church , officiating, assisted by the Rev. A. R. Longenecker, pastor of St. John's Lutheran Church, Littlestown. Interment in Union cemet
