Schlichtenmyer Ephraim, ca 1853, Grunden Ellen L, Schlichtenmyer Henry, Miller Sarah, 8 May 1885 Schlichtenmyer Epraim 1850-1910 ~St 3-8 Schlichtenmyer Epraim of Jefferson Twp died from a stroke of apoplexy last night. He was about 49 years of age and had lived in that neighborhood since childhood. He is survived by his mother, wife, son, daughter and brother. Funeral will be Sunday at his residence. Burial, Union Cemetery. ^ 4-30-1910 He was born in Stark County, Ohio Sept. 18, 1850, and died April 29, 1910, aged 59 years 7 months and 11 days. He came with his parents to Noble County at the age of 3 and settled on the Kiel farm just north of Kendallville. They later moved to the present home where, with the exception of about two years, he has resided ever since. He was married to Rosina Bauman Aug. 10, 1887. They had a daughter, Tillie; and a son, George.
