The 1900 U.S. Federal Census says Emanuel was born in February 1884, and his name is spelled "Emmanuel". In the IGI his LDS Church membership record says he was born in 1886. Other places have his birth date as 1885 such as the U.S. International Marriage Records 1560-1900.
