Our father returned to his Heavenly home to be reunited with his loving wife on September 3, 2015.
Born May 31, 1923 to Clitus and Hilda Krumrine Meckley in Hanover, Pennsylvania, the eldest son of ten children.
He served his country proudly in the United States Army during WWII in the South Pacific.
Married Camilla June Goodwin on June 29, 1946 (solemnized in the Los Angeles Temple on June 29, 1961).
Survived by his children, Ella (Jerry) Reese, Carolyne (Terry, deceased) Galentine, Elwood Jr. (Karen), Julia Dominguez, Jay (Natalie), and Cameron (JaeLynne); eighteen grandchildren, twenty-eight great-grandchildren, and six great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 5, 2015 in the Granger Tenth Ward Chapel, 3276 South Hillsdale Drive (2760 West), West Valley City, with a viewing to begin at 11:30 a.m.
Interment will follow at Redwood Memorial Estates Cemetery, 6500 South Redwood Road (1700 West), Taylorsville.
