Wisconsin State Journal, 6 June 1931: RACINE GIRL KILLS SELF AFTER LOVERS' QUARREL Racine-- A lovers' quarrel ended in the death of Elsie Billington, 18, when she jumped from a third story window here early today. Her mother told police that the girl had quarreled with Carl Radwig Friday night before she locked herself in the bathroom and plunged to the cement sidewalk below. Radwig stopped a passing motorist and took the girl to St. Luke's Hospital.
