Elizabeth Swallow was born on baptised on 18th October 1799 and baptised the following month at Harpenden in Hertfordshire, daughter of Susannah Swallow, formerly Dearmer, and her husband George Swallow. Elizabeth died as a young girl of three years and five months, the same time her younger sister Susannah also died, aged one year and three months. The two little girls were buried in the same grave at Harpenden on 4th April 1803.
