1893 - After her second child died of whooping cough, Elizabeth left her first husband, and apparently Tasmania.

1902 - Recorded on Son William FODEN's birth registration as Elizabeth Mary POINTER, aged 35, born at Hobart, Tasmania. Marriage date is given as 23 November 1895 in Launceston, Tasmania [although Elizabeth and Chrles FODEN weren't married until 1914 in New South Wales]. Other children from the marriage are given as Joseph, aged 6, May, aged 3, none deceased.

1930 - Recorded in Australian Electoral Roll as Elizabeth FODEN, 57 St Thomas St, Coogee district, New South Wales, home duties [with husband and two sons], and also at 11 Hough St, Waverley.

1933 - Recorded in Australian Electoral Roll as Elizabeth FODEN, 11 Hough St, Waverley, New South Wales, home duties [with son].
