An Old Alma Resident DEad

Mrs. Elizabeth Church wsa one of twelve children born to Ludwig and Catherine Muhn. She was born in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania on August 25, 1850 and passed away at the age 75 years, 2 months at her home.

At the age of 12 years her family moved to Seville township, Gratiot county. She was united in marriage to Elisha Church on September 29, 1870. To this union were born five children: Louis N. Church of Vestaburg, Albert of Ithaca, Arthur of Toledo, Ohio; Mrs. Iva Haggard of Pontiac, and Claude Church of Lansing.

She leaves to mourn her loss a husband, four sons, one daughter, twelve grand-children, and one great grandchild besides a host of friends and relatives.

The funeral services were held at the Presbyterian church Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. with Brother Wilford officiating.
