Catherine Muhn was born at Pittsburg, Pa., July 9th, 1948 and came to Michigan with her parents in childhood. They located on a farm in Pine River township. She was united in marriage November 20, 1864, to Wm. Izenhath and to this union eleven children were born, nine of whom survive, and seven of whom were present at the funeral. The children are Henry Izenhath of Lansing, Mrs. James Jones of Houghton, N. Y., Alvin Izenhath of Seattle, Washington, Will Izenhath of Alma, Mrs. Benton Richards of Alma, Mrs. Wm. Canwell of Detroit, Frank Izenhath of Detroit, Otto Izenhath of Hastings, Mich., and Mrs. Harry Owen, of Portland, Mich.

Mr. Izenhath died thirty-five years ago, and Mrs. Izenhath later married Rev. F. F. Flewellen, who has also been dead for several years.

Mrs. Flewellen has been a resident of Alma since 1906 and has been a faithful member of the Free Methodist Church. She leaves to mourn their loss, her nine children, twenty-seven grandchildren, and twelve great grandchildren, beside many friends, who will miss her cheerful greetings and quiet smile.
