A photo of her tombstone at Find-a-Grave shows the year of birth as 1883 with no month or day. Alternately, the Jackson book by Robbins give a more detail date of 28 May 1884. See also obit below. A photo of Elizabeth is there which states that she was a teacher. Abstracted from obituary contributed by Jerry Jackson of Park City, Utah Feb 1971 "Mrs. Elizabeth L. Jackson, 87, of 501 West Spencer street, died at 9:45 a.m. today in the National Nursing Home, 511 North Line street. Her husband, Clarence P. Jackson died Oct. 9, 1950. Mrs. Jackson was a native of Thorncreek township. She was born on May 28, 1883 to Dorsey E. and Delilah Crawford Jagger. Her marriage took place in the home of her parents on March 30, 1913. The Jagger family lived at Monon. In 1902 Mrs. Jackson returned to Whitley county and since 1947 lived at the Spencer street address. . . Surviving are two sons, Robert L. Jackson, Sycamore, Ill., and Harold E. Jackson, R 1; five grandchildren; six brothers, Grover E. Jagger, Smith township, Cecil Ray Jagger of Columbia City, John Jagger of Thorncreek township, Frederick Earl Jagger of Silver Lake, Harry Jagger of Thorncreek township and Charles Jagger of Pacolma, Calif. Six sisters preceded her in death. . ." The sisters were unnamed and funeral plans were pending. North Line Street is in Columbia City, Indiana. References
